People have all sorts of questions about Revolution Hawaii - Here are are the ones we get asked the most.

• Who can join?

  If you are 18 to 29 and “in-between” majors, semesters, jobs or are just looking for a strong foundation for the rest of your life - We have opportunities designed to help you understand God more deeply, live more like Jesus and identify your unique purpose in reaching the world for Christ. Our mission is to reach, disciple and mobilize young adults. We believe that faith, growth and servant leadership are key to bringing change within your surrounding community and within yourself. We want to help you in building strong foundations that will stand up to the challenges that lie ahead. We offer a 3 month program in both Spring and Fall and have Summer mission options as well. We want you to come out, get involved and make a difference.

• So how long is it?

  Our Essential missions are 3 months longs. We offer these twice a year, in September and January.

• Where is Revolution Hawaii located?

  Revolution Hawaii is located at Camp Homelani on the North Shore of the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Team members live in cabins located at the camp - just steps away from the beach.

• What will I be doing at Revolution Hawaii?

  Accepted team members will be discipled, mentored, trained, equipped and deployed to some of the darkest places in Oahu. The training will have a heavy leaning towards urban and beach ministry, working with at risk youth and hard core addicts. We have a strong partnership with the local church and social institutions.

• What will we be doing for the Summer Mission experience?

  Team members who completed an Essential session are eligible to participate in world or North American camp missions.

• What's the cost?

  Current cost is $3,000.00 USD per session.

• What does the cost cover?

  Everything you will need while you are here. This includes full tuition, room, board and supplies.

• What about health insurance?

  You will be responsible for covering your own medical Insurance.

• How do I get to Revolution Hawaii?

  You will need to purchase a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii.

• Is their financial aide?

  Revolution Hawaii actual cost is $8,000 per team member. The Salvation Army provides a $5,000 grant. Accepted team members are expected to raise the rest of the money. However we can provide ideas to help fundraise.

• How do I raise Support?

  Once accepted we will send you a fund raising packet full of helpful ideas.

• When is the application deadline?

  Revolution Hawaii operates on a rolling application process. Once we are filled we will close the application process for the current session. So get your application in now.
